On Tuesday, 17th September, Hall for Cornwall was alive with music, passion, and community spirit as over 800 attendees gathered for "Hope for Cornwall", an extraordinary evening hosted by Homes for Cornwall. With a stellar line-up of local talent, including Fisherman’s Friends, Catrina Davies, Will Keating, Sapphire Sumpter, Rhys Wynne-Jones, and many more, the event was a resounding success in raising awareness about the housing crisis and the role we all play in creating solutions.
At the heart of the evening was the engaging and whip-smart Gail Muller, who masterfully guided us through this impactful extravaganza. From soul-stirring performances to heartfelt discussions, "Hope for Cornwall" was not just an event—it was a call to action.
A Surge of Generosity and Support
The response has been overwhelming. Since the event, we’ve been inundated with pledges from individuals and organisations offering their time, expertise, land, and financial support. This outpouring of generosity reflects the true spirit of Cornwall—a community coming together to tackle challenges head-on and ensure everyone has a place to call home.
Accelerating Our Mission
Thanks to your support, the Homes for Cornwall team can fast-track plans to build new homes for our communities and parishes. The event was more than a night of entertainment; it was a catalyst for change, sparking hope and inspiring action.
